I'm testing a new version of our vendors DBMS (Unidata), and am getting
the following message when joining large files (using tru64unix 4.0d):
errno=9.
cannot lseek file for joining
The DBMS handles views differently than the old version, so it's not
necessarily something broken on the software. We are looking at both the
DBMS configuration and unix paramaters.
Are there a limited number of unix parameters that should be looked with
this error message, and if so, what would they be ?
