Adic DAT autochanger and Tru64 5.0

Hello managers.

We used to run networker 4.4 on a DU4.0D-machine (AS2100)
with an Adic Dat autochanger (ADIC-1200c/ADIC-1200d)
and a TL800 dlt-changer. This worked well.

Now I changed the networker-server to another alpha
(as500/333) with Tru64 5.0. I also upgraded networker
to 5.5.1. The dlt-changer works well and so, but the
kernel can´t find the Adic changer. And therefore
jb_config can't make anything of it.

On Legatos site I found out, that networker is not supported
on Tru64, but hey? Why did it work on DU4.0D?

The rom-monitor finds the changer and it says:

jka400.4.0.7.0 JKA400 ADIC DAT AutoChanger 0360

So? Is this changer not supported on Tru64 5.0????
