My prior WARNING message dated 01/01/2000 contained a typo.
Our machines are (unfortunately) 21164 Alphas rather than
21264 Alphas. The bug occurred on the first machine that
we attempted to upgrade (DPW 500au 4.0c + patches).
Of course, not all Alpha machines are affected by this bug.
Many of you may have successfully upgrade your firmware using
the Firmware Update v5.2 cdrom.
