Ernie explained the way how to use an HP Laserjet 5SiMX at the parallel
port:

Below is a uuencoded compressed tar file containing the configuration
files (.pcf) for the HP 5si printer. Copy these files to /usr/lbin/pcf
and set the file protection to 644 or 444. Create a printcap entry for
the ln17_a4 printer then change the IF and OF printcap settings to:

        :if=/usr/lbin/pcfof +Chplj5simx_a4.pcf:\
        :of=/usr/lbin/pcfof +Chplj5simx_a4.pcf:\

If you are using letter paper don't add the _a4 suffix.

And he supplied the necessary pcf-files.

Thanks Ernie
Gerhard
