Hi to everybody !
As I summarize a previous question I soon mail another one!

Moving from 4.0d to 5.0 I'm not anymore able to masterize CDs.
I use GEAR on 4.0d , but GEAR is no more updated from its manufactures
so I must manage by my self.

The problem arises in /dev since GEAR during installation modifies
the system configuration file /sys/conf/XXXXX adding the following line

        device disk gd0 at scsi2 drive 020

where 020 is from the scsibus/target/lun values.

But when I doconfig the resulting XXXXXX config I have as follows:

        *** PERFORMING KERNEL BUILD ***
        scsi 2 not defined
        scsi 2 not defined
        gd0 isn't connected to anything

        Configuration file has errors.
scsi 272 not connected to anything
scsi 272 not connected to anything

The strange is that I can use the CD I want masterize on. I can mount CDs on it!
It is the plextor at bus2, target 2, lun 0.
