All,
I have an SBB Shelf that is currently configured with 2 SCSI bus channels.
I need to figure out how to make it a single channel bus shelf. I have read
the book that comes with it from cover to cover, and have tried a couple of
things listed there. I have also dismantled it looking for a jumper to set
to terminate the B channel so I would have only one channel. According to
the manual, in theory I should just have to plug a cable only into the A
channel, and the B channel would be terminated giving me only one SCSI
channel. However when I power up the system to configure the RAID devices
(This will be using a KZPAC RAID controller) I have only every other disk
available.
What do I need to do to eliminate the B channel, and have only a single
channel shelf?
Thanks in advance,
David Goldberg
