NFS mount from Tru64 to Linux 2.2.5-15

I'm trying to setup an NFS mount from my Tru64 4.0f system to a Linux box
and any time I try the mount I get the following error:

NFS3 RFS3_FSINFO failed for server lenny : RPC: Program/version
  mismatch.

In this case 'lenny' is the NFS Server.

If I reverse the configuration and let the Linux system do a mount of a
file system on the Tru64 system it all works OK. Except I need the Linux
system to be the server.

What can I do here, or is this really some kind of version mismatch for
RPC and how can I correct that??

thanks for the help!!
