AdvFS: "set free space alert" via command line?

Hello,

I'd like to get noticed when a fileset or all filesets
within an AdvFS domain underrun a certain percentage
of free space.

Within the dtadvfs GUI I find an option
"Set free space alert" that seems to provide this
functionality (it allows to start a script; this might
send mail or something).

Question: can this functionality also be enabled by
the command line interface? Would this functionality
require the 'advfsd' to be running all times? -- I tend
to have the 'advfsd' not running all the time since I
was burnt by this CPU hog in the past.

Thank's much already for any hints on this & Regards,
