Hello all,
Well, unfortunately it looks as though there is no way to get rid of the C2
banner "Last successful login for [username]: [date] Last
unsuccessful login for [username]: [date]". I got a couple of replies
saying this and I also called Compaq's support and was told the same thing.
They told me that one of their folks looked at the source code for 'login'
and suppressing these messages is not possible with the current
implementation of login. They also stated that the messages are required as
set forth in the DoD Orangebook.
I'll either have to live with it or go back to base-level security.
Thanks for your help!

Hello admins!
I am running C2 security with v4.0e. With C2, everytime a user logs in,
s/he gets the "Last successful login for [username]: [date] Last
unsuccessful login for [username]: [date]" along with the regular motd
banners. I need to be able to supress the C2 banner specifically. I have
been successful in supressing the motd banner by including the .hushlogin
file in a users' home directories, but the C2 banner still appears. Does
anyone know a way to get rid of that without going back to base level
security?
Thanks in advance,
