Thanks to Kurt Carlson for his reply:
iostat is hopelessly broken for hsz devices,
for a rewritten iostat (uaio) see:
ftp://ftp.alaska.edu/pub/sois/Overview.html#uaio
or:
http://www.arsc.edu/~kcarlson/software/man/uaio.html
I downloaded uaio, compiled it and it works great. In a cluster environment
you just have to make sure you run uaio on the system where the service for
the specified disks is running.
Thanks!

Subject: iiostat for disks on shared bus
Hello gurus,
I need to get disk statistics for disks in my cluster that are attached to a
pair of HSZ70s on a shared bus. One such disk is rz42. When I type "iostat
rz42 1 5" for example, it simply comes back with the first 4 disks on the
system as if I had only typed "iostat 1 5". I am running Tru64 Unix v4.0E
with TruCluster 1.5. Does anyone know how to get disks stats for disks
located on a shared bus?
Thanks in advance.
