Dear all

Networker 4.4-11/12
Digital UNIX 4.0D PK3

We needed to recover some files from a tape which had been deleted from the
index. We used scanner -i /dev/rmt0h and performed this on all 6 tapes in
the set. We then used recover set the date back with changetime and
recovered the files OK.

The files we recovered were from the 12th December 1999 and we performed the
recovery on the 6th Jan 2000. We have continued to perform our normal
backups but now I wish to recover some files from a backup taken on the 2nd
Feb 2000. When I go into recover and change the time to that date add the
files then type "version" or "vol" it says the files are on the tape
relating to 12th Dec 1999. I have tried to recover tapes taken from a
successful backup this morning and am pointed to the same tape.

If I use networker GUI Volumes and view the tape taken this morning it seems
OK.

Any ideas
