Summary: Changing the host name

 My original question:
"Is changing the hostname on a Tru64 4.0F system as easy as
 
         hostname newhostname
 
 ?????
 
 or do I need to stroll through the system changing various files?"

In addition to the hostname command, rc.config must be changed. I also
changed an entry in the /etc/hosts file and the system name on the kernel
file in /sys/conf. All went swimmingly.
