Managers,
We have a configuration where three Alpha 1200's running 4.0D are connected
to an SW500 disk-cabinet with two dual redundant HSZ50 disk-controllers.
Only one of the Alpha's uses an HSZ-disk for the system-environment. No
TruCluster is used. Recently I installed the SWCC HS Series Agent (SWCC204)
and the SWCC Device Management Agent version V2.0-022 (SWCCCDM200) to be
able to do some disk-monitoring.
Ever since the installation of that software we receive some strange
messages in the syslog:
dmagent[7050]: WARNING: Socket error - gethostbyname(): No such file or
directory (SOCKET: socketConnectByService)
Does anyone have a clue what this can be?
Greetings,
Dagmar Galama
