startup script

Here's the question:

I have a simple startup script that will start an oracle web listener, but
I need this script to run as oracle at boot time. I have used the setuid
bit with the proper user/group (oracle:dba) but it will not do the setuid
(it runs as root).

I've also read that on true64 Unix, setuid is disabled for security
reasons. We're running DU 4.0B and have another machine running 4.0D that
has a few setuid scripts for httpd that work correctly. Is there a kernel
option I can turn on, or something else to tweak before it will work? I
really want to avoid writing a C wrapper to do the setuid operation, and
I think sudo is pretty much out since this needs to run automatically at
boot time.

Any advice is appreciated.
