Hi Tru64 managers!
A couple of days ago someone posted a very similar problem, and now a
colleague has it (I never saw a summary of the solutions if it was posted
back to the list). He has a DEC Multia running Tru64 4.0 (sorry I do not
know the rev or patch level). When the battery began acting up, Compaq
service replaced it. Now his workstation will boot on only in single user
mode despite the facts that all the initd scripts are set up for full
multi-user mode and CDE to start at boot time.
Can anyone on the list suggest a solution to his problem? Thanks a million!
