Hello -
We are about to configure an RA3000 to have RAID0+1. The primary purpose of
this machine (a new DS20E running 4.0F w/3GB RAM) is as an Oracle 7 database
server. We need to determine the strip (or is it stripe?) size for this.
How do we go about determining whether we want a 'large' or 'small' size?
Our primary tuning concern is month-end reporting so we think we'd like this
system 'tuned' or optimized for reads.
