Dear Managers,
two problems:
- NFS-Server with a lot of exported filesystems:
swapon -s:
Total swap allocation:
Allocated space: 103006 pages (804MB)
In-use space: 18309 pages ( 17%)
Available space: 84697 pages ( 82%)
do i need more memory or not, how much more???
- Alphaserver with a lot of user:
swapon -s
Total swap allocation:
Allocated space: 1066150 pages (8329MB)
Reserved space: 200317 pages ( 18%)
In-use space: 105359 pages ( 9%)
Available space: 865833 pages ( 81%)
which tool tells me, how much memory i really need?
I know, that per user should be available x-MByte Memory, but some user run big
programs and other users only mails.
I will summarize. Thanks, Harald
