never was to able to restart my console into X :(
once the # of users died down, did a shutdown, power off
and came back up.
Console is now back in X and looks like it used to.
Sure would like to know what happened however. I'll have
to have the person that was using the system this am
try to do it again, so I have an idea of what might have
happened.
