Thanks to: Chad Price, Nikola Milutinovic and Knut Hellebo:

- use sendmail.8.9.3
- comment out ../sendmail/src/Makefiles/Makefile.OSF1 the lines with: LDAP..
- after installing groff...
the compile works.
