Hello Admins,
I am running Tru64 Unix 4.0D on a Alpha 2100 with a 3 channel PCI
backplane with no external storage cases (everything is in the alpha
pedastal)
Before the drive install I had 4 4.3 GB drives raid 5 on bus 0 (A0 to
A3) and I had one open space. I thought that the space on the shelf
should be bus 0 id 3 but it was bus 1 ID 3. Anyway when I had ran the
raid software it showed up as bus 0.
Is there any way to add the hard drive to the raid set??? I don't have a
LSM liscense and the raid software that I have is (Storage Works
Standalone RAID Array 200 Software V3.1 for AXP Systems)
Do I need to look into this liscense or is there another way to add the
drive to the raid set. The software did not even recognize any of the
drives on the other bus at all.

I would like to have the one just installed into the raid set. ( I might
need the space in the future. The reason I installed the hard drive was
because a domain was out of space but I found a 7.7GB log file that was
deleted.)
Thanks for your help.
