Our Digital Unix computer used to run OK. But I found the users couldn't
print yesterday.
The error message is given as below:
ksh:godzilla:/usr/users/zuh># lpr test.pep
lpr: cannot create /usr/spool/lpd1/.seq
ksh:godzilla:/usr/users/zuh>#
I checked permission of the lpd1 directory:
drwxr-xr-x 2 daemon daemon 8192 Mar 8 08:03 lpd1
and in the lpd1 directory:
ksh:godzilla:/usr/spool/lpd1># ls -l
total 19
drwxr-xr-x 2 daemon daemon 8192 Mar 8 08:03 .
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root daemon 27 Mar 8 08:03 status
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root daemon 4 Mar 8 08:03 .seq
-rw-r--r-- 1 root daemon 21 Mar 8 08:03 lock
drwxr-xr-x 17 root system 8192 Dec 9 15:35 ..
ksh:godzilla:/usr/spool/lpd1>#
Please help to fix this problem.
