Tru64 Unix V5.0 and Networker

I am trying to build a Networker server on Tru64 Unix V5.0 with a TL892. I

have tried repeatedly to get Networker to recognize the media changer. With

Networker 5.5.2, the "inquire" command sees the changer at the proper

location, but doesn't seem to understand the V5.0 device naming scheme and

tries to build a media changer at an invalid location. Same with the tape

drives. My changer is addressed via V5.0 at /dev/changer/mc0, but Networker

INSISTS on building a /dev/mc16 that never shows up because V5.0 doesn't use

MAKEDEV.MC to make its changer devices. Also, Networker tries for a device

name that follows the /dev/nrmtXh scheme where both of my devices are at

/dev/ntape/tape1 and /dev/ntape/tape2. Anyone else having any success

getting Networker Server and Tru64 Unix V5.0 to play nice together?

Thanks,

Jef
