gcc and various alpha chips...

Hello,

I went to upgrade from gcc 2.95.1 to 2.95.2 on our main NFS server,
which serves a couple of clients and then noticed something I would like
to try and prevent. The NFS server is a DS10 (ev6), and 3 of the
clients are 500au (ev56). When I compile something on the client
with the new gcc I occasionally see a message about emulation.
I see that with cc there are flags for generating code for a specifice
chip type, or forcing it to generic, but I don't seem to be able to find
anything similar for gcc. All machines are running tru64 4.0f.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Matt Goebel
