Hi,
I upgraded the 2 processors on my system from
667MHz/4Mb cache to 750MHz/8Mb cache.
System is an UP2000 based running
Tru64 Unix 5.0. After replacing the CPUs
and setting all the jumpers the SRM
finds two 751MHz processors. The boot
process starts fine but hangs with the
message:
dsfmgr: updating kernel basenames and old
devnames for system at /
kevm tty00 tty01 lp0
Is there any kind of hardware database
which has to be changed? I am stuck
Will summarize
Christian
