I'm trying to plan how I should recover a failed disk. My systems use
Netbackup and if I have a disk crash, the procedure would be something
like the following, right?
boot off the CDROM
get the install.cdf from the Netbackup filer and put it in the floppy
drive
Start the install
After install, install Netbackup and recover all files from the
Netbackup server.
Is there an easier way? Can I boot off the CDROM, open the UNIX shell,
install Netbackup client, and recover files?
Anybody already done this?
