Hi all,
Since upgrading to TU5.0 yesterday, we find that SGIs running
IRIX 6.x can no longer read TU5.0-exported NFS files unless the
SGI's mount them with option NFSv2. Without this, their
default is NFSv3 and then file-reads can sometimes hang
or the files are truncated.
Any clues? Is it 'us' or 'them' ?

Incidentally, there seems to be an error in the 5.0 Realease Notes
booklet. On page 1.14 it says that to compile for execution
on a TU4.x system, use -D_V40_OBJ_COMPAT. This doesnt work,
it should be -D__V40_OBJ_COMPAT

Cheers,
Terry.
