Configuring TZ877 as a Remote Storage Node in NetWorker

Hello,

I'm in the middle of configuring our TZ877 (7 slot autochanger for DLT
tapes) as a remote storage node under NetWorker 5.2. I am testing a
configuration that we hope to put into production next weekend onto our
NetWorker server. For this test environment, I've installed the 30 day
evaluation enabler for Networker, the 45 day evaluation enabler for the
jukebox, & the 45 day evaluation enabler for Remote Storage Node (we have
the enablers, but for this test environment, I'm installing the evaluation
enablers so that when I'm through, I can just uninstall Networker on this
platform at install the normal enablers on the production server.

What I've done is:
Installed "SCSI CAM Medium Changer Driver" (CLCMC315) on the test remote
storage server & test NSR server (Rebuilt kernel after this install)
Installed "MRU Robot utilities" on the remote storage server
Installed NetWorker 5.2 (client, server, storage nodes) on the test NSR
server
Installed NetWoker 5.2 (client, & storage nodes) on the test remote storage
server
run /usr/opt/networker/bin/jb_config on the test remote storage server
(Running jb_config added the device to the NSR server).

On the NSR server, I see this device:
rd=trigger_explore:/dev/nrmt0h(j)

I also see the jukebox under "Media->Jukeboxes".

When I press the "Mount" button, it shows that there are 3 tapes in the
jukebox.

This is where things stop going right...

If I try to label the tapes in the jukebox, NetWorker will say, "Labeling
slot 1 (2 slots to go)", then the second, then the third, in quick
succession. However, the tapes are never loaded and nothing is written to
them.

If I try to mount on of these tapes, I can select which tape from the mount
window, but nothing actually happens.

Is there something I've missed?

Thanks for any help...

Both UNIX servers are running Digital Unix 4.0d with PK5, and NetWorker for
Digital Unix 5.2.

John
