Username with more than 8 characters

    Hi,
     We are planning to have a home directory for all our Computer users
with different OS(NT,Linux,SUN OS,Tru64)
     and using AFS . So that the user can use the same username on all the
platform. Now we would like to have
     username with more than 8 characters. Is it possible to have username
with more than 8 characters on Tru64?
