Network Printer Q's

Many thanks to the people who responded who said essentially copying is ok but
choosing an older model type should also work.
On the copying idea. I noticed that the entries in lprsetup.dat referred to two
/usr/lbin/*pcf files which I also did not have so I copied them over also.

On attempting to configure the printer q via printconfig I found that there was
no connection type of TCP mentioned.
Neither was there in the lprsetup man page only direct and LAT.
My admin documentation is for tru64 V 5.0 but the OS is V 4.0. My manual
clearly states that there should be an option for TCP connection. Is V 4.0 that
different?
Am I missing some software?
What is the config process in V 4.0.?
By the way I am new to OSF but am quite experienced on HPUX and AIX.
Thanks in advance.

Julian
