Original message attached.....
I received no replies to my post, but then again I have seen very little
list traffic today so I'm not taking it personal....
Anyway, the problem has been resolved by applying SP6.0a to my NTWS.....
I was running SP5....

Leo

Subject: auto refresh on samba shares
Hello Managers,
Sorry if the following doesn't really belong here....
I'm evaluating Samba as a possiple replacement for Pathworks and have
an odd problem I was hoping that others may have encountered....
This install of Samba is 2.0.6 on DU 4.0f.
I'm exporting a mount eg. /disk as common, and if I right click in the
folder
and create a new folder, it doesn't show up until I go to 'view' and
'refresh'
or the 60 second refresh comes up. If I delete something, the same
happens...
I have used samba on other systems without this issue....
Also, a search of the this and the Samba mail archives was fruitless....
Thanks,
Leo
