main said that it was quite practical to use the DLT even if a bit
unusual.

So what we did was :
After a bios upgrade of the PC (Windows98) and various settings adjusted
to detect a SCSI adapter, windows found the TZ88 as a DEC unit.
Unfortunately, the various software packages we tried didn't recognise the
TZ88 as a tape device so this had to use generic device drivers to make it
visable to the software (Novaback+).
We are now able to make multiple save sets on a DLT.

We have a spare TZ88 and have managed to bust all our IOMEGA and jazz
drives that we used for stand alone pc backups. Can the TZ88 be used if
you have a scsi card in the pc? If so what software would you need and
where could we get it? Whereas we appreciate that a DLT is a bit big for
most pcs, it is available doing nothing but look pretty.
