In short, I see, this function is not used and all
solution are print bar code directly to
system printer. (using /etc/printcap file)

COMPAQ recommended the same (use /etc/printcap)

I work in this way...

ORIGINAL TEXT:
We need print bar code from tru64 UNIX to slave printer
conected to VT220.

We can print to slave printer with tput command.
(we modify terminfo) . This solution work fine with
ascii file, but bar code file don't work. print only ascii.

any help is appreciated.
