Hi
We are looking to upgrade our current processors in our AS8400. We
currently have 625MHz EV56 fitted. When we last talked to our reseller
about upgrading to EV6 the guy in charge of our account said that we
would need to upgrade the back plane if we did this upgrade. We now
have a new guy as our account rep and he has not mentioned the upgrade
of the backplane at all. When I asked him he said he didnt know if
that was required.

My question is if we upgrade an AS8400 that had previously been
upgraded from EV5 440 MHz cpus to EV5 625Mhz, to EV67 do we need a new
backplane?

Also we are looking for a 2nd hand 2GB Memory module for an AS8400 and
anyone in the UK has one for sale please get in touch

TIA
