VMS to Unix

Dear All
    We are in the process of converting an existing VMS Application to
Tru64 .We have a lot of application menus which make use of VMS Logicals
& symbols extensively. May I request some feedback from people who have
done similar migrations for some ideas on how these Logicals & symbols
were handled.
