Hi all,
login on onw of my unis system (Ultimate Workstation, V4.0d) is no more
possible:
Login over telnet or LAT gives "too many users". Logging in with
root over LAT gives the additional message
"can't open /var/adm/lastlog"
Login with ftp works.
I rebooted the system. Nothing changed. Login on the local Workstation
works. It shows e.g. 6 users "root", adding another terminal window
increases this to seven. I have about 30 ptys and 16 LAT devices.
Any ideas? (I looked at the archives but found nothing)
