Tru64 4.0D backward compatible with 4.0F?

Hi,

Is code compiled on T64 4.0F guaranteed to run correctly on 4.0D (Fortran, C,
C++). This question addresses kernel entries, staticly linked runtime code etc.
The same compiler versions and no special -arch compiler option are evident. All
"quick" tests seems to be ok.

Any negative experience?
Are official statements from Compaq available?
