I have an Alpha with an external TZ88 Table top drive attached.
The Compaq blurb says that this is a 40 GB Max drive, yet it backs up
46Gb daily.
I do use the C parameter on the vdump command.
Is the hardware providing hardware compression on top of the software
compression or what!
The system is running 4.0f patch kit 3.
