Hello,
Does anyone have any experience in upgrading CPUs on the Alpha 8400 machines
used in a file server/scientific computation configuration. The machines
are currently configured with the 5/300 and are getting killed by our
expanding database, additional users, and more intensive tasks.
Also, in addition to a CPU upgrade, are there other things we should be
looking at to increase performance, capacity, response, etc.?
