Hello all,

I have a Chinese programmer here with the following questions:

        1. How to configure the printer in Tru64 UNIX 5.0 to print out
Chinese characters?

        the configuration we have is:

        Personal workstation 500au
        Tru64 UNIX 5.0
        Taiwan Chinese big5 as local-locale
Chinese outline fonts installed(how to check wether the outline font
is available?)

the postscript print filter should be wwpsof
Printer: HP4050N/HP8000N which support Level 2 postscript

        2. Before UNIX 4.0D, there is a CDAviewer tool "dxvdoc" , after
UNIX 4.0F, this tool is not include. Is there any other tool can view the
postscript files on the screen?

Currently, we are developing some applications for a Chinese project. We are
using U.S. models of HP Laserjet printers. The target printers will HPs, but
purchased in China or Taiwan. I don't know if there are any differences
other than power. Any help would be appreciated.
