[Q] NFS over MemoryChannel

Dear all,

has anyone tried NFS over MemoryChannel? Assuming all traffic is
between alpha systems is this a better solution than Gigabit Ethernet?
I am aware that the IP (and TCP) stack improvements are probably only
available with DEC MPI and PVM.
