As far as I know (just got it a few weeks ago, and I'm still playing with
it), the HSG80 makes connections based on the WWN (World-Wide Name) of the
interface card (KGPSA). Thus, if you are using the same interface card, you
shouldn't need to change anything in the HSG.
Original question:

I've renamed by host kernel config files many times before
 with:

 mv /usr/sys/OLDHOSTNAME /usr/sys/NEWHOSTNAME
 ln -s ../usr/sys/NEWHOSTNAME /sys/NEWHOSTNAME
 mv /sys/conf/OLDHOSTNAME /sys/conf/NEWHOSTNAME

However I just started using an HSG80 controller(which I'm just learning
 about)connecting my gs60e and es12000.

Do I need to re-config the HSG80 to recognize the newhostname?
Is it safe to use the above commands in my new environment?
