Hi all

Has anyone tried to set up large memory filesystems say 2gb because when I
try to setup a MFS larger than 1GB I get the following message.

mfs -s 4096000 /tempdb
mfs: malloc of 2097152000 bytes failed
malloc: Not enough space

But however, If I create a mfs smaller than 1GB I have no problem.

Have I forgoten to set a kernel varaible properly or something akin to
this?

System: DU4.0F pk3, Alpha 4100, 4GB ram, with HSZ70

Thanks in advance -greg
