Hello managers,
We have a working TruCluster built around two no. of Alphaserver 8200.
Currently there is one HSZ50 RAID
controller connected to both the systems on a Differential SCSI bus (
KZPSA-BB controllers) Disks
configured on HSZ50 are part of Cluster services and all this is working
fine.
We had one unused KZPSA-BB FWD SCSI controller configured in each system.
We have created
a shared SCSI bus using these two unused controllers and connected a TZ88
table top tape drive through a DWZZA converter so that it is visible to
both the systems. Tape device is working fine from both the system
( being accessed form one system at a time)
These controllers were not added in the cluster configuration initially.
Now we would like to add
this differential SCSI bus into the existing cluster configuration so that
tape device can be defined as a
cluster service.
How can we add this differential SCSI bus into the existing cluster
configuration without disturbing existing
cluster services keeping the down time to minimum.
Thanks and Regards,
Mahinder Kumar
