DEC find vs. GNU find

I seem to have stumbled over an interesting DECism with 4.0 find. When
looking for files older than N days you can say "find . -ctime +N" On
DEC if N is say 2 that means files created > 72 Hours ago. if you say
"find . \( -ctime +2 -o -ctime 2 \)" I would assume you would find
files created >72 hrs ago and 48-72 hrs ago, but you get >72 & 24-48
hrs. To get >48 hrs N must = 1. The GNU find and Solaris find work
the way I would expect. Who's right? or am I just being stupid and
that's the way it oughta be.

Jon
