I am running LSM on a 4.0D alpha server and had the hard drive that contained the root mirror go bad (rz29). We were mirroing /, /usr and swap on the primary boot disk. All has been corrected and I am now ready to rebuild the root mirror, but I'm getting conflicting information concerning the volrootmir command. Does this need to be run in single user mode or can it be done in multiuser mode?
ANSWER:
This can be done in multiuser mode.

I have gotten to the point where I have set all of the file system types to unused and believe I am now ready to rebuild this drive. When I issue the volrootmir command, do I need to use the "c" partition so as to get the compete disk mirrored or just issue this: volrootmir -a rz29 ??
ANSWER:
Since I wanted to mirror the complete drive, I did not need to specify the "c" partition. The command I issued was volrootmir -a rz29.
