Hi Managers,

I am trying to set the number of maximum number of files that can be open
with
ulimit -n 5120

This returns an error saying
bash: ulimit: cannot modify limit: Invalid argument

The current ulimit is 4096, got by using
    ulimit -n

Does anyone have any input into solve this.

Thanks in advance
Kevin Moore
