Hi managers,

Well, lots of responses here. Since our cluster is a simple one, the answers
were quite simple too. Consensus is that I have to make sure we have enough
memory available. And the stop- and startscripts for SAP are provided by
SAP, so I just have to add them to my ASE-configuration database. Should be
an easy one...

Thanx again everybody,

Subject: Trucluster and SAP

Hi managers,

We are planning to run SAP (database and application) on a Tru64
4.0F-cluster, consisting of two Alphaservers ES40. Does anyone have
experience with Tru64-clustering and SAP? Anything we have to be aware of? I
am especially interested in ASE start- and stopscripts for SAP. By the way:
we are keeping things simple here: one ES40 is running the complete
SAP-environment, while the other is "hot stand-by".

Greetings,

Dagmar Galama
