Many thanks to all people that reply, I get almost 10 replays in less
than 30'.
Special thanks to:
Jan vanderBerg
Alan Nabeth
Jasper Hoon

The command line that works is:

host B #/sbin/vdump -0 -u -b 64 -f - /usr | /usr/bin/rsh host A /sbin/dd
of=/dev/nrmt0h bs=64k

I added a -C option inmeditely after the -0 option of vpump for enable
compression because I´m working with 2 Gb tapes.

Following to this I have two new dubts
1_ How I do perform the vrestore command?. For a listing and check the
files on tape or for recover purposes.
2_ Can I do perform a vdump to a ftp address?. How? I´m thinking in to
free myself fron tapes and perform backup in hard disk in other computer
like a networked PC.

Again many thanks for your help
Sincerely, Eduardo Poblete

Dear Sirs I have two Digital As 4000 running DU 4.0C with AdvFS and in
one of which the tape recorder device is off for manteinance.
The machine A, has tape device, the machine B has not. Then I have to
backup files from B using the tape device of A. The question is that I
don´t know how to make a remote backup. ¿Could some of you help me to
learn how to make a remote backup?.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
