Netwerk interface card half, or full duplex

Managers,

Is there a way to see on what speed a network interface card (other than a
fddi card) is operating on a running system?

I know the speed of a network interface card is set on the bootprompt with
the ewa* variables, but I cannot find a way to find the value of these
variables on a running system. With lan_config several NIC settings can be
changed, but lan_config seems to be missing a display option of the current
NIC settings. The fddi_config has this option (-d) but this doesn't work on
a regular interface card. I also cannot get the desired information from the
ifconfig command.

We are running 4.0-D and 4.0-F.

Any ideas, suggestions ?

Regards,
Gert-Jan Hilbrands
