We are having problems configuring our dual redundant HSZ50 controllers.
We are unable to see any storage units associated with the second or bottom
controller.
We want the top controller to service D100 and the bottom controller to
service D200.
We have tried configuring the top controller with a preferred id of 1 and
this appears to work. The commands used are listed below:
CLI> SET FAILOVER COPY = THIS_CONTROLLER
CLI> SET THIS_CONTROLLER ID = (0,1,2,3)
CLI> SET OTHER_CONTROLLER ID = (0,1,2,3)
CLI> SET THIS_CONTROLLER PREFERRED_ID = (1)
CLI> RESTART OTHER_CONTROLLER
CLI> RESTART THIS_CONTROLLER
With this configuration however, we are unable to see D200 from the SRM
console.
When we associate both D100 and D200 with the bottom controller we cannot
see either.
When we associate both D100 and D200 with the top controller we can see
both.
Does anyone know why the bottom controller's associated storage units are
not visible from the SRM?
